nail fungus is a very frequent infection. During the early stage of the infection, you can see white or yellow-brownish discoloration under your toenails or fingernails.
In more severe cases, the infection can cause pain, and thickened and misshapen nails.
The main causes of nail fungus are:
- Walking barefoot in gyms, swimming pools, or other public areas
- Having a medical conditions like psoriasis
- Athlete’s foot
About treatment
The blue clinic uses Nd: YAG laser technology to target fungal bacteria. The procedure takes approximately 15-30 min. During the treatment, we use a laser to target your nails and the surrounding skin.
We recommend 6-8 sessions, a spaced week apart.
