FACIAL SPIDER VEINS

Those visible veins that can be seen just beneath your skin, on your cheeks or nose are damaged that usually appeared as red, purple or blue. Spider veins are actually not veins that are responsible to carry out blood in your body but they are damage capillaries.

Spider veins does not cause any pain or symptom and mostly are treated only for cosmetic purposes.

Some common reason for spider veins are genetic, sun exposure, aging, sitting or standing for a long period of time, some medication.

TREATMENT

Laser light therapy is the perfect solution for treating vascular lesions. Fotona’s long-pulse Nd:YAG lasers penetrate to a depth of 5-6 mm into the skin, allowing for highly effective treatments. Independent research shows that over 75% of patients with deep hemangiomas that are treated with Nd:YAG lasers see a dramatic regression in the lesion.

A series of 1-3 sessions are recomended. Treatments are typically done every 6-8 weeks.
