When your skin is cut or going through trauma, your body begins its natural way of healing and replacing the damaged or lost tissue. Sometimes this healing process will leave you with scars.
Scars can be as a result of burn, surgery, infection, or inflammation of tissue.
There are different types of scars, some are flat, however some are raised such as keloid scar or hypertrophic scars.
TREATMENT
Depending on the scar type, a combination of laser fractional, laser resurfacing and Steroid injection will be used to improve the discoloration and or to flatten the scar and improve appearance of scars.
A series of 4-8 sessions are recommended for the best result.
