Anti-wrinkle Injection

NEUROMODULATORS

Neuromodulators or wrinkle-relaxing injections are made from botulinum toxin which is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.

Neuromodulators are commercially known as Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® that are used to smooth out facial wrinkles.

Injection of neuromodulator into certain muscles, causes them to weaken or paralyze and relaxes the skin above them as well. The results become noticeable 24 to 48 hours after injection to temporarily improve the appearance of wrinkles.

Even though you are altering your muscle with this injection, it is safe when administered by medical professionals
